Rene Solak National Trainer, Classroom Management

The difference between a classroom where students thrive
and one where they survive is craft.

Good teaching is a craft, and the right strategies can be learned by anyone willing to practice them.

Whether the room holds ninth graders or seasoned professionals, people learn best from practical strategies they can use immediately. Respect the learner, keep it useful, and the classroom takes care of itself.

Rene Solak National Trainer, Classroom Management

A career in classrooms. And boardrooms.

Rene Solak spent her career as an educator in central New York, teaching in K-12 classrooms and training adults in corporate settings. That dual background shapes everything about how she trains: she knows what a Tuesday afternoon classroom actually feels like, and she knows how to hold the attention of a room full of professionals who have seen every kind of presentation.

Now retired from the classroom, Rene delivers Time To Teach classroom management and student engagement training as a certified national trainer, bringing schools the same practical, proven strategies that have served the program's districts for more than 30 years.

The strategies that work are the ones teachers can use Monday morning. Everything else is just a nice day out of the classroom.

Her trainings focus on what the Time To Teach program does best: reclaiming lost instructional time, responding to challenges without power struggles, teaching expectations instead of just posting them, and building the student-teacher relationships that make everything else possible.

Rene is based in Elbridge, New York, and serves schools and districts across the region and beyond.
